The first solo exhibition of the Berlin-based artist Zhivago Duncan in The Netherlands, with a selection of work of the last 5 years.
The recent work of the American/Syrian artist Zhivago Duncan consists of large format paintings and moving mixed media installations of post apocalyptic landscapes in which he uses his fascination for language and symbolism, iconography and science fiction.
The installations stem from a series of which earlier work was presented in his solo exhibition at the prominent Contemporary Fine Arts Berlin gallery and in the ground-breaking group exhibition: GESAMTKUNSTWERK: NEW ART FROM GERMANY at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
