To think about nature, amidst of nature is part of the Kröller-Müller Museum. The museum has an extensive collection with work by artists who all have different opinions on time and space and the relationship to nature. The exhibition Nature-Based cuts into this variety with works by contemporary artists. On display are film and video works by artists such as Roni Horn, Pierre Huyghe, Lon Robbé and Oscar Santillan.
On the public events grounds, where the sculpture garden is situated, the first big artistic intervention in years is being executed: La Saison des Fêtes, by Pierre Huyge consists of a round garden, surrounded by a landscape of sand mountains. It is a self-generating system, initiated by the artist, but which continues on to shape itself.
