Fragile Goods. A tribute to Minke A. de Visser

The collection Asian ceramics from the Groninger Museum is one of the largest four in the Netherlands. This rich collection is build up by conservator Minke A. de Visser (1898 – 1966). The exhibition Fragile goods is an homage to her endless efforts that brought the museum its wonderful heritage, which formed the foundation for the current collection of ceramics. When she passed away in 1966, she too donated her own ceramics collection to the Groninger Museum.
