Traditionally, Spring is the season in which flowers take hold of the Frans Hals Museum, with widespread beautiful bouquets in special (tulip) vases. A small exhibition of various images shows how painters in the Golden Age were already traveling way beyond the borders to capture exotic flowers. This year, students from the Rietveld Academy designed several new vases especially for the museum.
