Avery Singer

The Stedelijk Museum presents the first European museum solo of the American artist Avery Singer (New York, 1987). It is also the first time that her work is on display in the Netherlands.

Among other things, Singer presents the big installation that she impressed with during her solo in Statements at Art Basel 2015, that is part of the collection of the Stedelijk since. The exhibition also comprises new work that Singer made especially for her solo presentation.

The exhibition is part of the sequence Stedelijk Contemporaries, a series of solo exhibitions by a promising generation of artists.
