Under the Magnifying Glass

In Under the Magnifying Glass – Mini. Magical. Masterful, miniature art is presented in an impressive context. Bianca van der Hulst-Sijsenaar is the winner of the programme Klein maar Fijn. Especially for the LAM museum, she created miniature artworks that respond to the museum’s collection.

The colours, textures and imperfections familiar from the home are rendered in detail in Van der Hulst-Sijsenaar’s three-dimensional still lifes. Only the size is deceptive. The miniature artist works on a scale of 1:12. The works can be viewed through a magnifying glass.
