Three Friday afternoons devoted to writing at the See All This editorial office, guided by writer Jessica Collins. Inspired by Maggie Nelson’s Bluets, we explore how a single word, memory or feeling can become the starting point for writing that takes us somewhere unexpected.
Each afternoon has its own ‘theme room’:
15 January – The Heart Room
29 January – The Mind Room
12 February – The Body Room
Jessica will introduce the writing exercises in English, but you are welcome to write in Dutch or English, whichever feels most natural to you. There is no pressure to read your work aloud or share it with others.
We begin together, gathering words and associations before moving into a series of longer, uninterrupted writing sessions. Each afternoon ends with a cup of warm ceremonial cacao.
