How to make your own exhibition at home | Summer of Love

By Redactie See All This | June, 2020

Everything about this summer issue is new and different: it consists almost entirely of images printed on heavier paper that you can tear out. But dip into it and you’ll see that one thing never changes: love – the heartbeat of life. To capture something of its unrestrained beauty and emotion, we asked artists, writers and connoisseurs to pick works of art they feel represent love. The result is an extraordinary collection that you can use to mount your own exhibition at home or elsewhere. Steal our hearts with your exhibition and win a prize!

PRIZE

In July and August, See All This will share submissions in the art newsletter. Ten winners will be selected in September. The winners will be awarded a copy of the 1000-page Atlas of Furniture Design by Vitra. Click here to subscribe to our newsletter.

This 1,000 book delivers the most comprehensive overview on the history of furniture design ever published. The publication documents some 1,691 objects and features roughly 2,595 images, from high-quality object photographs to reproductions of historical documents such as brochures, patents, interiors or reference works in art or architecture. The basis for the Atlas of Furniture Design is the furniture collection held by the Vitra Design Museum, one of the largest of its kind in the world with more than 6,400 pieces of furniture as well as the estates of such design legends as Charles & Ray Eames, Verner Panton, Alexander Girard, George Nelson and others. The collection comprises pieces by the most significant designers and manufacturers of the past 200 years.
