Bijoy Jain
for Louis Vuitton
For Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2026 men’s show, Bijoy Jain – guest curator of See All This #32 – transformed the square beside Centre Pompidou into a spectacular Snakes and Ladders board.

Last week, Louis Vuitton presented its new Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection against a spectacular backdrop designed by renowned architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai – guest curator of See All This #32: Make Yourself a Home.
The runway on the square next to the Centre Pompidou was transformed into a giant Snakes and Ladders board: a classic game with roots in India, where players move across the board by rolling dice – climbing ladders of fortune or sliding down snakes of misstep.

‘I’m interested in the exploration of all possibilities,’ Jain told Architectural Digest. ‘If you look at your best work, it’s usually something you never imagined you could do. You must return to a place of full exposure – of not knowing the outcome. Snakes and Ladders was the starting point. It’s a code of how one moves through space and how one makes things. For me, it’s a cosmic diagram – like a mandala, but imagined as a game where everyone must ascend.’

There are plans to install Snakes and Ladders permanently in a public park in Mumbai. Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams added: ‘I imagined the show set as a living Snakes and Ladders board – more than a stage, something alive and lasting.’
