Self-portrait (2026) | Sanja Marušić

In her surreal self-portraits, Dutch-Croatian artist Sanja Marušić (1991) moves as a performer through self-created landscapes. Photography forms the foundation of her work, which she enriches with painting and collage techniques. The result is a series of alienating miniature performances, based on personal stories and manipulated into a new reality – somewhere between dream and memory.
