In 2021, former minister and India ambassador Eegje Schoo donated 142 works to Museum Arnhem by 40 contemporary artists from India, including Gogi Saroj Pal, Jangarh Singh Shyam, Surendran Nair, Bhupen Khakhar and Arpita Singh. By showing work by them alongside works from its own collection, the museum aims to reveal the power of art as a universal language.
