I see nature as a series of interconnected processes rather than as things or places, says Tania Kovats (1966). In her sculptures and drawings, she explores our relationship with the natural world, especially the sea: the boundaries of the body, the power of water, and our physical surrender to the elements.

Through her work, Kovats invites us to marvel at and reconnect with the nature around us. In this exhibition, she focuses on the sea, revealing how water has its own rhythm and constantly reshapes the landscape. She traces horizon lines in her paintings, a point of connection between sky and sea. A central work in the exhibition is her sculpture series The Divers, for which wetsuits were used as moulds. These forms, cast in concrete, are diving into the earth, and merge with the environment. Not only water is fluid; the human body is too, which is embodied in our relationship with the sea.
