State of Wander
Towards Environmental Restoration
-
Address:
Koninklijk Park 16,
7315 JA Apeldoorn
State of Wander offers a new perspective on art, heritage, and our relationship with nature. Artists, designers, and researchers from the Netherlands and abroad draw inspiration from Paleis Het Loo: from the palace to its Baroque gardens. On the bassecour, in the palace, the gardens, and the palace park, you encounter their new art projects. At the heart of the exhibition lies the question of how historical collections can think along with, and speak to the climate crisis.
‘State of Wander reflects a moment of movement and uncertainty,’ says Anna Bitkina, guest curator for State of Wander. ‘A time in which people, ideas, and ecosystems are searching for new directions and ways to connect. This wandering is not a sign of being lost, but an invitation to pause, to reflect, and to chart a course anew.’
