With her art, Magdalena Abakanowicz caused a landslide from the 1970s onwards. ‘At three locations in Brabant, we make the ground tremble under her impressive monumental art installations,’ says museum director Jacqueline Grandjean. The province is paying tribute to the Polish artist and godmother of installation art. At the North Brabant Museum, her work will be displayed alongside that of artists including Anish Kapoor, Kimsooja, Marlene Dumas and Kader Attia.
