From vibrant paintings to thought-provoking installations – each artwork tells a personal story of loss, hope, and resilience. For example, the exhibition includes a piano entirely decorated with hand-painted toothpicks found in a shop near an asylum seekers’ center, and a haunting dollhouse reconstructed inside a wall cabinet. In five intimate video portraits, the artists share their backgrounds, experiences, and motivations.
