Bridging Minds

‘In a time when we are confronted with major societal challenges, design can offer direction,’ says Miriam van der Lubbe, who curated an exhibition featuring designers who are making a difference. Van der Lubbe is a leading voice in the design world, as a designer herself, and as creative head and co-founder of Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven.

The challenges of our time, such as emerging technologies, social inequality, and climate change, are approached by the designers in Bridging Minds with a solution-oriented and optimistic mindset. The exhibition is not only about reflection, but above all about creating design that can have a lasting impact. Themes such as the relationship between humans and technology, care and well-being, connection, inclusion, empowerment, innovation, nature, resources, and freedom are expressed through design and innovative materials.
