World Hope Forum

For more than five years, we have worked on a series of magazines dedicated to the creative power of women artists throughout the centuries: Pretty Brilliant — Women in the Arts. In mid-June, the third and final issue of this series will be released, with the theme Goddesses.

Leading the way through this issue are six divine goddesses spanning eras, cultures, and expectations, representing the hunt, the moon, fertility, sexuality, beauty, water, time, death, creation, destruction, the earth, the night.

The World Hope Forum — the fantastic and groundbreaking platform founded by Lidewij Edelkoort and Philip Fimmano — has invited us to curate a programme centred around Goddesses. For, just like goddesses, women artists have always been omnipresent.

On 1 June, we will be hosting the World Hope Forum’s online webinar. Speakers include Catherine de Zegher (guest curator of our summer issue), Sutapa Biswas (artist), and Cecilia Vicuña (artist and poet).
