ABOUT ROBIN DE PUY

Robin de Puy, born in 1986 in Old Tonghe, graduated from the Photo Academy in Rotterdam in 2009. That same year, she won the Photo Academy Award. In 2013, she received the Dutch Photographic Portrait Prize for a photograph she took of fellow photographer An-Sofie Kesteleyn. In 2015, on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, she took a road trip through the United States. Her travel photographs were shown at the exhibition If this is true at the Nederlands Fotomuseum in The Hague.

PRETTY BRILLIANT

The Q&A is part of Pretty Brilliant, an initiative through which See All This aims to draw continued attention to more women in the arts. Previous meetings and public debates took place at PAN (2018) and Art Rotterdam (2019), for which Italian art collector Valeria Napoleone came from London. See the interview with Napoleone in NRC Handelsblad here: “The art world is still a boys’ club.”
