About the speakers:
GRISELDA POLLOCK
Griselda Pollock is professor emerita and was awarded the Holberg Prize (the Nobel Prize of the humanities) in 2020. She is considered today’s most influential feminist art historian — and an unrivalled speaker. Her book Old Mistresses (1981), written with Roszika Parker, is considered a classic in feminist art history.
CATHERINE DE ZEGHER
During her many travels and through her pioneering exhibitions, Catherine de Zegher has discovered and raised countless revolutionary artists, like Frida Kahlo, Hilma af Klint and Louise Bourgeois. In recent years, she has been involved as guest curator of See All This’s Pretty Brilliant series.
CLAUDY JONGSTRA
Claudy Jongstra creates monumental, tactile installations in shimmering colours. All the materials and raw materials she uses are grown locally. Jongstra is the first ever to be recently awarded the Demeter label for textiles. On 7 June, she will tell you more about it and you can take part in the auction of one of her works.
