Dorodango

It seems like alchemy, yet the transformation is essentially quite simple: shaping and polishing earth into a glossy, smooth sphere. This Japanese technique, dorodango, is a wonderfully meditative art form that you can learn this spring in De Proeftuin.

On Sunday 24th May and Sunday 28th June, we’ll dig clay together and you’ll roll your own pearls in the wild garden or by the fire.
