It seems like alchemy, yet the transformation is essentially quite simple: shaping and polishing earth into a glossy, smooth sphere. This Japanese technique, dorodango, is a wonderfully meditative art form that you can learn this autumn in De Proeftuin.
On Saturday 10th January and Sunday 15th February, we’ll dig clay together and you’ll roll your own pearls in the wild garden or by the fire.
