Birgitta de Vos is a visionary artist and author guided by intuition and an acute sensitivity to emerging cultures. She began her career as a trend forecaster and entrepreneur, founding five groundbreaking brands over fifteen years. Following a sabbatical spent travelling and writing, she transformed her practice into the creation of handmade, limited-edition, iconic books.

Her publications, including Omnipresent|Beyond Borders, All In Nothing|Nothing In All, and her most recent As Is Above|So Is Below, explore the aesthetics of existence, the power of artisanal techniques, and the relationship between humans and their environment. On Friday 12 December, Birgitta de Vos will host a Nomadic Reading Room at the Axel Vervoordt Gallery near Antwerp. A quiet afternoon to wander through books, read between the lines, and explore the creative process behind them. A space for rhythm, colour, and silence.
