The museum discloses the world’s biggest collection of works by this Dutch painter. Besides a permanent collection the Van Gogh Museum organizes temporary exhibitions, always in relation to Van Gogh’s practice. The Potato Eaters, Still Life: Vase with Twelve Sunflowers and Bedroom in Arles are all examples of works that the collection comprises. Works from Van Gogh’s contemporaries and friends such as Georges Seurat and Paul Gauguin are also featured by the museum.
