CODA Museum collects, preserves and shows unique, extraordinary, outstanding big and small stories of and about people. Focal points are contemporary jewellery design and fine art on and with paper. CODA Paper art – a biennial exposition – brings both of them together by focussing on art and jewellery made of paper and cardboard.
By making thematic expositions, CODA Museum continuously provides a remarkable view on modern and contemporary art. Expositions or presentations that tell the history of Apeldoorn and its surroundings are part of the programme too.
Because CODA is comprised of not only a museum but also a library and an archive, contemporary jewellery and the collection are constantly illuminated from different perspectives. CODA Museum is an inspiring place where every story is a cross-pollination between fine arts, literature and history.
