Galerie Onrust was founded by Milco Onrust in 1986, on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. Ever since, the programme focused on contemporary painting. In 1992, Boudi Eskens joined the gallery and in the summer of that year he opened an annex on de Planciusstraat.
