Rijksmuseum Twenthe is a museum for both old and new art, located in Enschede. In the east and north of the Netherlands, the museum is unique in its kind, displaying a complete and uninterrupted storyline in regional art. The museum calls itself the museum of the imagination. It’s being rearranged and renewed all the time, constantly leading the past and the present into new confrontations with each other. Works from the permanent collection are presented in turns. The collection comprises works by a variety of artists such as Pieter Brueghel the Younger to Monet and from Richard Long to Odilon Redon.
